At Hassells Engineering, we excel in providing high-quality material handlers and scrap metal processing equipment. Based in Staffordshire, we are a highly competent and well-respected engineering company with a dedicated workforce of over 45 employees.

Hassells Engineering has a wealth of experience in the design, production and installation of welded steel fabrications for a wide range of industries including specialist trailer manufacturing, heavy-duty transportation skids, recycling equipment, and bespoke turnkey solutions for all business sectors.

At EH Hassell’s we have vast experience in the machining of all our key components including the subsequent pre & post machining of all our fabricated Assemblies.

Our fabrications are prepared for wet painting using various methods, depending on the item. The best and most effective preparation for painting large items is to shot blast the surfaces with steel shot. We have a dedicated Shot blast bay for blasting items up to 12 meters long.

Hassells Engineering has two custom-built spray booths for wet painting up to 12m long items. Our large painting department can apply wet paint to small and large fabrications and assemblies using a variety of traditional painting methods.

Last week Hassells proudly marked a momentous milestone—50 years of innovation, dedication, and service.

Founded in 1974 by Ernest Haig Hassell, we initially began as a trusted provider of mechanical engineering services for the quarrying industry. In 1985, we relocated to our current site in Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent. This 2.3-acre facility, featuring 36,000 sq. ft. of undercover space, was a key step that paved the way for our ongoing growth and success.
