Founded in 1974 by Ernest Haig Hassell and his sons, E.H. Hassell & Sons has been proudly family-run from the very beginning—built on a foundation of quality, reliability, and expertise.
Over the decades, we’ve grown into a leading specialist in waste handling and processing equipment, backed by our nationwide, in-house, OEM-trained engineering team.
Today, we support the waste, scrap, port, forestry, and organics sectors with high-performance machinery, flexible waste handler hire and comprehensive after-sales service—always tailored to the unique needs of each customer. Because the right solution is never one-size-fits-all.

In 2021 EH Hassell and Sons secured the sole UK dealership for the SOLMEC range of material handlers which further adds to the portfolio of recycling capital equipment that is provided to the range of customers the business has within the Scrap, Demolition and Ports sectors.
As EH Hassells and Sons continue to develop its product range attracting and even wider offering the company is now beginning its plans on further strengthening its position in the market by developing itself further into the Waste, Wood and composting sectors.
